Small group discussions
In the afternoon session we further discussed user experience and mobile Internet service qualitites in four focus groups. The groups discussed a separate theme each:
1. User groups. What are the key user groups for mobile Internet - extremely mobile people / teens / business users / tourists / active content contributors, .. What are the key user experience factors that make these groups active mobile Internet users?
2. User experience in different cultures What kind of cultural differences do you identify that affect user experience, and how do these differences affect mobile Internet development?
3. Designing individual services for successful user experience. What should be targeted user experience factors in a successful service, and why?
4. Enablers for successful user experience of mobile Internet. What kind of solutions help users find what they need within mobile Internet service entities? Is it a matter of search engines, portals, context-awareness? Is it a matter of standards and guidelines? Or societal practises and education?
